HOW DOES AN ON-LINE UPS WORK?
An on-line UPS continuously processes voltage, and in the event of an unexpected drop in network voltage, the power supply sustains the operation of the connected device through built-in batteries, which are constantly recharged. Therefore, power from the network is only required for recharging the batteries. Devices permanently connected to the UPS will always receive clean, disturbance-free power drawn from the batteries, which is why the output voltage of the on-line UPS will always remain constant, regardless of the input voltage.
